30/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Swedish group TV4 has become a shareholder of EuroNews (0.5% of the capital), thus becoming the second largest Scandinavian shareholder to enter the share capital of the European multilingual news channel, after Finland. At present, EuroNews has 21 shareholders. “Thanks to access to TV4, Swedish news will be covered better on EuroNews”, Philippe Cayla, CEO EuroNews, was pleased to state.
