United Kingdom, Slovenia and Portugal in the dock at Court of Justice for failure to transpose directives

Brussels, 30/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 30 June the European Commission decided to pursue infringement procedures against 14 Member States for failure to implement in national law one or more of five different Internal Market Directives. The Commission decided to refer Slovenia and the United Kingdom to the European Court of Justice for not having implemented the directive on occupational retirement provision.
