EU “firmly recalls” its opposition to all kinds of torture and inhuman treatment in the world

Brussels, 26/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - On the occasion of the ninth United Nations International Day in Support of Victims of Torture (26th June), the EU, on Monday, underlined the priority which it attaches to the global eradication of torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment, and to the full rehabilitation of torture victims.
