The British company, STAGECOACH (turnover of £ 207 million in 2005-2006 with workforce of 4,300) has sold up its London bus network to the Australian company MACQUARIE BANK for £ 263.6 million. The company has 26% of market share in buses in the United Kingdom and has explained that it will obtain a surplus of 120 million from this sale.
