According to the Russian press, the French company, RENAULT, has a proposed to the Russian Lada AVTOVAZ manufacturers, the biggest in Russia, to create a joint stock company that could be capable of producing up to 450,000 vehicles a year. At the same time it wants to have a 25% stake in AVTOVAZ.
