26/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Commissioner for Research, Janez Potocnik, was in Vienna on Monday 26 June, where he took part in the launch of the research cooperation platform with the Balkans. This initiative, which is part of the Thessaloniki action plan, may well qualify for funding under the sixth framework programme for research and development.
