Viviane Reding calls on Asian countries to facilitate access to their “ICT” markets

Brussels, 20/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Commissioner for the information society and media, Viviane Reding, will be having a meeting this week (19-21 June) in Singapore with the Secretary General of ASEAN, Mr Ong Keng Young, as well as several ministers responsible for communication and media in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, in an effort to thrash out how the European and Asian regions can cooperate in their relevant domains.
