09/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 7 June, the European Commission authorised changes to the State aid regime approved in July 2005 for certain categories of passengers who wish to return to metropolitan France from the Reunion (EUROPE 8995). This change aims to give a more effective response to the inconvenience suffered by the inhabitants of the island who are faced with higher transport costs than they would have in Metropolitan France.
