Brussels, 09/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - Following a well-established tradition, the European Parliament will hold an extraordinary half-day session after the European Council of 15-16 June. At this session, on 20 June, Chancellor Schüssel will inform Parliament of the outcome of the Summit.
Next week in Strasbourg, the EP has added a debate on human rights in Tunisia to Tuesday afternoon's agenda. On Thursday afternoon, it will debate human rights in Syria, East Timor and North Korea (see detailed agenda in EUROPE 9207).
