08/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - A delegation of 12 MEPs from the European Parliament's civil liberties committee left for the Canary Islands on Thursday on a two-day visit to the refugee centres at Tenerife and Fuerteventura. The object of the visit is to obtain fuller information on illegal immigration, and analyse the reasons for and consequences of it.
