AESGP- Association of the European Self-Medication Industry is organising its 42nd AGM in Athens on 7 to 9 June on 'Self Care - Realising the vision', attended by European Commissioner Günter Verheugen, Austrian Health Minister Maria Rauch-Kallat on behalf of the Austrian Presidency and Finnish health minister Tuula Haatainen on behalf of the upcoming Finnish Presidency. A European conference on 'Les massifs de montagne et la coopération territoriale en Europe' is being organised by French organisations Mission Développement Prospective, l'Association Européenne des élus de la Montagne and the Conseil général de la Savoie in Chambery, France, on 8 and 9 June. It will be attended by European Commissioner Danuta Hübner, the presidents of various regions, members of the EU Committee of the Regions, like Bresso, Forni, Caveri, Ricou, Bertrand and Chudik, French town and country planning minister Estrosi and Finnish regional development and local communities minister Manninen. Eurelectric - The Union of the Electricity Industry is holding its annual convention in Oslo, Norway, on 12 and 13 June on the 'Role and benefits of electricity to society'. Eurelectric president Rafael Miranda will be meeting with the Norwegian oil and energy minister Odd Roger Enoksne, EU Energy Commissioner Andris Piebalgs, EU Competition Commissioner Neelie Kroes and industry representatives.
