ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) aeronautics

The French company THALES has acquired 49% of DLE - DIEHL LUFTFAHRT ELECTRONIK, a subsidiary of DIEHL (internal lighting). DLE assets will be transferred to DIEHL AVIONIK, a firm jointly owned by THALES (49%) and DIEHL (51%), renamed for this occasion as DIEHL AEROSPACE. Pro forma, this entity should now be capable of obtaining an annual turnover of € 190 millions, with a workforce of 1200.
