Green light for acquisition of AD Cartonboard by Korsnäs

Brussels, 15/05/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has approved the purchase of AD Cartonboard by Korsnäs. Since the merger will combine two leading European Economic Area (EEA) producers of liquid or semi-liquid packaging board, the Commission's market investigation focused on potential anti-competitive effects of the transaction in an already highly concentrated market.
