Decisive 3 May meeting between Rehn and del Ponte on Belgrade's cooperation with ICTY

Brussels, 02/05/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 3 May, Enlargement Commissioner Olli Rehn is due to meet the Prosecutor at the International Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) Carla del Ponte to take stock of the level of cooperation from Belgrade. This meeting will be decisive in that, should Mr Rehn decide there has not been enough cooperation, negotiations to conclude a stabilisation and association agreement with the EU, due to restart on 11 May, will be suspended.
