Brussels, 26/04/2006 (Agence Europe) - Twenty years after Chernobyl: lessons for the future. Based on this theme, the commemoration of the worst nuclear accident in history, which happened in Ukraine on 26 April 1986, saw a vibrant tribute, at the European Parliament on Wednesday, to the past, present and future victims of a tragedy with an uncertain death toll, a statement by the European Commission and an exchange of views with Members of the European Parliament, which revived the debate...
