MEPs call for healthcare personnel to be better protected against needles

Brussels, 20/04/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 20 April, the European Parliament's Committee on Social Affairs adopted the report by Swedish Socialist Jan Andersson, its chairman, who calls on the European Commission to present a proposal aimed at amending the 2000 directive on the protection of workers against biological risks.
