Gazprom threatens to re-direct supplies to other markets if its expansion in EU is blocked - Commission reacts

Brussels, 20/04/2006 (Agence Europe) - Gazprom, the Russian giant which provides almost a quarter of the EU's gas imports, has delivered a veiled warning that it would re-direct its gas exports to other markets, like China and North America, if EU Member States tried to block its expansion in European markets.
