Brussels, 18/04/2006 (Agence Europe) - Michel Delebarre, President of the Committee of the Region (CoR), has welcomed the selection of Pecs (Hungary), Istanbul (Turkey) and Essen (Germany), with their excellent dossiers, as candidate countries for the title of European Cultural Capital 2010.
