EP's International Trade Committee calls for new partnership agreement and establishment of impediment-free 'transatlantic market' by 2015

Brussels, 18/04/2006 (Agence Europe) - At the upcoming EU-United States Summit in Vienna in June (to be attended by President Bush), EU and American leaders are expected to decide to launch negotiations to draw up a new transatlantic partnership agreement to lead to the establishment of a 'transatlantic market' by 2015 without any impediments to trade. An impediment-free transatlantic market in financial services and capital is expected to be achieved by 2010. This is the main recommendation...
