Brussels, 25/01/2006 (Agence Europe) - On the eve of Palestinian elections on 25 January, British Conservative Edward McMillan-Scott, who heads the European Parliament observer delegation, hoped the electoral process would be of a quality comparable to that of presidential elections one year ago (in addition to this 27-member mission, the EU has an observer mission headed by MEP Véronique de Keyser, Belgian Socialist).
