Brussels, 19/01/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Galileo Consortium signed a contract for the in-orbit validation phase of the Galileo satellite navigation system, in other words, the development and in-orbit validation of the constellation's first four satellites due to be in orbit by 2008, explains a European Commission press release.
