19/01/2006 (Agence Europe) - In Brussels on 17 January, an official Chinese delegation met the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR), who represent European local and regional authorities, to exchange views on governance and electoral systems at village level in China . A press release points out that the Chinese delegation was made up of representatives from the Ministries of Trade and Civil Affairs and also from the EU/China training programme on village governance.
