Brussels, 17/01/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 17 January, the Council adopted by written procedure a regulation imposing definitive anti-dumping measures in the form of a minimum import price of 2.89 EUR/kilo on imports of farmed salmon from Norway. This minimum price, which has been in place provisionally since July 2005, had been agreed by the EU and the Norwegian authorities in a friendly agreement reached in June last (see EUROPE 8973).
