17/01/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Swiss laboratory Roche announced on 17 January that it will make a donation of 2 million boxes of its oseltamivir-based anti-viral medicine to the World Health Organisation (WHO). The donation will help the WHO form regional stocks to face a possible human flu pandemic. The Roche press release was published just as the donors' conference in Beijing was opening. With this donation, WHO will have a little more than 5 million boxes.
