GENERAL NEWS / (eu) logistics

Danish transport company DSV (annual turnover EUR 2.9 bn, 100,000 members of staff) has launched a bid of EUR 38 a share for Dutch company FRANS MAAS (annual turnover EUR 1.1 bn, workforce of 7800, 212 units in 34 countries in Europe and four countries in Asia), valuing the company at around EUR 228 mil.
