Brussels, 23/11/2005 (Agence Europe) - Just one day after her election as head of the new German government, Chancellor Angela Merkel on Wednesday travelled to Paris, then to Brussels, where she met the President of the European Parliament Josep Borrell in the afternoon, and later in the day the President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso.
