10/11/2005 (Agence Europe) - Francis Wurtz, President of the GUE/NGL Group at the European Parliament, has written to President Borrell asking for a declaration from the Council and Commission plenary as soon as possible on the revelations of The Washington Post on “secret prisons set up by the CIA to interrogate suspects in the fight against terrorism”, especially in the countries of Eastern Europe that belong to the EU (EUROPE 9062).
