Sarkozy proposes group of six as driving force for Europe

Brussels, 26/09/2005 (Agence Europe) - At the European Convention of the UMP, which was held in Paris on 24 September, the President of Jacques Chirac's party and Minister for the interior, Nicolas Sarkozy, said that the Franco-German axis should be extended to the four other large countries of the EU: the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain and Poland.
