Commission updates list of free trade areas in 19 EU Member States

Brussels, 12/09/2005 (Agence Europe) - A list of the free trade areas in the European Union as at 1 September 2005 has been published on the website of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Taxation and Customs Union. There are 62 such areas in 19 Member States: one in Denmark, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal and Slovenia; two in France, Italy, Ireland and Slovakia; three in Cyprus, Estonia, Greece and Latvia; four in Finland and Spain; six in the UK; seven in Poland; and eight in...
