08/09/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has given its go-ahead to the Apax Europe VI project which belongs to the group Apax, to acquire sole control of Versatel Deutschland. The latter is an operator of the telecommunications network in the Länder of Baden-Würtemberg, North Rhine Westphalia and Schleswig-Hostein, as well as in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and Nüremberg. The operation, estimated at a value of EUR 565 million, was examined according to simplified procedure.
