Ms Marques to head representation to Portugal

Brussels, 31/08/2005 (Agence Europe) -On 30 August, the European Commission announced that it had appointed Margarida Marques to the post of head of its representation to Portugal, with effect from 1 September. Ms Marques, 51, is currently acting head of the Commission's representation in Lisbon. A member of staff of the European Commission, she has worked in DG Education and Culture and DG Press, amongst others.
