Romania wants accession to go ahead as planned

Brussels, 31/08/2005 (Agence Europe) - In a press release sent to AFP, Romania's prime minister Calin Tariceanu said he was expecting the European Commission, in its report on Romania's preparedness to join the EU (to be published in October this year) to make a sincere and correct evaluation, taking account of what Romania is doing at home rather than the political situation at European level.
