01/08/2005 (Agence Europe) - On 29 July, the Council of the EU adopted a decision on the implementation of the common position CFSP 2004/161 on Zimbabwe, by written procedure, adding six new names to the list of people affected by the EU's restrictive measures (ban on entering the territory of the Member States of the EU, freezing of financial assets) in order to take account of recent violations in the field of human rights. This list now contains 126 people.
