WTO understood to have ruled in EU's favour

Brussels, 26/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - According to sources in Geneva, the WTO panel set up last year by request of the EU in order to rule on the conformity of the new American Foreign Sales Corporation legislation (FSC) has reached the conclusion that the new American law ("American Jobs Creation Act"), which was brought in to replace the FSC, which was found to be illegal in 2000, is still not in line with the requirements of the WTO.
