Donald Johnston believes China has its place among world's most developed market economies

Brussels, 26/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - In an interview with The Financial Times, the outgoing secretary general of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Donald Johnston, considers that China should be admitted as a member of the organisation. “China is the biggest steel producer in the world and has a major impact on international commodity markets”, Mr Johnston explained, saying the concern over human rights in China must not block accession by the Asian...
