Agricultural contractors feel "forgotten" in reform of sugar sector

Brussels, 18/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European organisation representing agricultural and rural contractors (CEETTAR) feels that the Commission behaved unfairly in its definitive stance over the reform of the sugar sector (see EUROPE 8991). The organisation feels that the Commission failed to take account of agricultural contractors and that they should be granted financial aid to compensate for their disinvestment further to the drop in sugar prices, in the same way as sugar...
