Commission publishes results of public consultation on new draft general political declaration to guide and revive EU development policy

Brussels, 01/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has gathered contributions from all interested parties in the development policy of the EU to put the finishing touches to the new political declaration being prepared by Louis Michel, the European development and Humanitarian Aid Commissioner, with a view to developing a real EU joint development strategy along the same lines as the EU's joint security policy.
