Sharon takes Borrell's proposal into consideration on holding special Euro-Mediterranean meeting in Palestinian territories

Brussels, 30/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - During the three day visit to Israel and the Palestinian territories, the president of the European Parliament, Josep Borrell, relaunched the idea of holding a special meeting of the Euro-Med Assembly (which he chairs) in November. Such a meeting, after the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, would be a clear message for peace, he said, according to a press release.
