Luxembourg to go ahead with referendum on 10 July - Poland may make do with ratification by parliament

Brussels, 20/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - The heads of Luxembourg's political parties decided on Monday to continue with their referendum on the European Constitution on 10 July and issued a statement to this effect. Since a law to hold the referendum had already been passed, the Luxembourg parliament would have had to vote on cancelling the referendum, but all of Luxembourg's political parties rejected this option on Monday.
