16/06/2005 (Agence Europe) -This is where things stood with the ratifications of the Constitution as of 16 June, the first day of the European Summit. Thirteen States have yet to ratify (Parliamentary ratification unless otherwise stated): -Cyprus (planned for June) ; - Luxembourg (Parliament 28 June, consultative referendum 10 July) ; -Malta (July) ; -Belgium (the Federal Parliament has already ratified, seven regional assemblies remain to do so) ; -Estonia (Autumn) ; -Denmark (referendum scheduled, before the summit, for 27 September) ; - Portugal (referendum scheduled for 9 October) ; -Poland (referendum scheduled for 9 October) ; - Finland (end 2005) ; -Sweden (end 2005) ; -Ireland (referendum, late 2005 or early 2006) ; -Czech Republic (referendum likely, end 2005 or early 2006) ; United Kingdom (suspension of Parliament's vote and referendum planned for 2006). 10 countries have approved the Constitution: Spain (referendum), Italy, Germany, Greece, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Lithuania and, on the day after the Dutch no, Latvia. France and the Netherlands have rejected the Constitution, by referendum.
