16/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Medical Technology Industry Association EUCOMED has sent an open letter to Jean-Claude Juncker, José Manuel Barosso and Günter Verheugen. On the eve of the European or Council, which will decide on the European Union's funding for the period 2007-2013, this organisation, which is made up of 4500 companies employing some 400,000 highly qualified people, calls upon them not to jeopardise funding for research, innovation and competitiveness.
