Two consortiums authorised to present common proposal

Brussels, 15/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - Although the announcement, on 10 May, of the merger between the two consortiums vying to run at the European satellite navigation system Galileo was somewhat hazy (EUROPE 8945), the spokesperson of the joint Galileo company Hans Peter Marchlewski, announced on Tuesday that the candidates had been authorised "to discuss together".
