15/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Council of Ministers of Member States of the EU adopted without debate on Monday a decision authorising the European Commission to vote, on behalf of the Community, for a two year extension of the Convention on the cereals trade, as well as the Convention on food aid. The international agreement of 1995 on grains is in two parts: the Convention on the trade in cereals (1995) and the Convention on food aid (1999).
