15/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - European Realities of the Present, of which Hartmut Marhold is the president and Jean-Pierre Gouzy is honorary president, is to hold its forthcoming colloquium in Brussels on 24 and 25 June, entitled "European Values in Action: Europe and the Islamic world". Among those taking part, apart from Mr Marhold and Mr Gouzy and the Secretary General of Realities, Bruno Boissiere (former MEP), will be François Massoulie, from the European Commission' s DG Middle East, Khattar Abou Diab, a political analyst with a specialism in Islam, Palestinian journalist Josephine Lama, professor from the Institute of Political Studies of Prague, Ferdinand Kinsky, and the deputy director of the European Culture Foundation, Odile Chenal.
