4.5 million in humanitarian aid for vulnerable in North Korea and Myanmar

Brussels, 13/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has adopted two emergency humanitarian aid decisions for vulnerable groups in North Korea and Myanmar for a total amount of €4.5 million. The aid is being provided through ECHO, the Commission's humanitarian aid department: Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK): a €3 million plan to help combat chronic malnutrition.
