Brussels, 13/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - By adopting the own initiative report of Ona Jukneviciene (ALDE, Lithuania) on “jobs and their productivity and their contribution to economic growth, the European Parliament recognised the importance of free movement of workers in the EU and calls on Member States to re-examine the transition period applicable in new Member States in view of eliminating all obstacles to workers' mobility.
