Brussels, 10/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament last week approved a report by the French socialist Vincent Peillon on a proposed regulation to strengthen controls on movements of cash at EU borders. The rapporteur hopes that the regulation will be adopted at the second reading. MEPs propose to make it obligatory to declare movements of more than 10 000 euros in cash at the Union's borders.
