Commission authorises aid to Südzucker Bioethanol

Brussels, 09/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - Germany has been given the go-ahead by the European Commission to grant state aid to the tune of 43 million euros to the company Südzucker Bioethanol, a subsidiary of Südzucker AG. This aid is perfectly in line with the positive actions foreseen by the EU and Germany with a view to promoting the use of biofuels and other sources of renewable energy because it will finance investment in a production plant for bioethanol and animal fodder from renewable...
