In France, Danuta Hübner stresses added value of Objective 2 and need for agreement on financial perspectives during June Summit “even if political context is difficult”

Brussels, 08/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - On 6 June, at the invitation of the president of the Association des Régions de France (ARE), Alain Rousset, Commissioner for Regional Policy Danuta Hübner attended a seminar on the financial perspectives 2007-2013 in Bordeaux. Presidents of the regional councils also attended. “Cohesion policy must be to the advantage of all regions and be equal to the task of dealing with the differences - and needs - of EU development”, the Commissioner said....
