EIB global loan to Banca Intesa for small infrastructure projects in Italy

Luxembourg, 02/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank has granted a loan of EUR 150 million to Banca Intesta to finance small and medium sized projects in the infrastructure sector,. The main objective of this global loan (credit line) is to support investment in economic and social cohesion, particularly projects in underdeveloped regions covered under Objective 1 or 2 or those in Community programmes such as the URBAN project.
